Kit 28 Card From The Craft Show By Gillian Lester

Hi, This is the card I designed for Scrapbook Creations, which I taught at the Craft Expo in March.
    Steps:

    1. Cut off any bar codes stripe from your cardstock, then cut it in half, you should have 2 pieces 6 inches wide each by 12 inches.
    2. Score and fold your 1st piece at 4 inches and at 8 inches.
    3. Then with your 2nd piece score and fold at 1 inch, 2 inch, 3 inch and 4 inch.
    4. On your 2nd piece cut off inch 3 and 4 and put aside.
    5. Take the your 1st piece assemble the card, 4 inch flat and the other folded over the top like a tent. (see photo Number 6)
    6. Stick with double sided tape the 2nd piece, which will now only have 3 parts to it, behind and at the bottom of the card, (see photo number 8).
    7. Take the 1 inch strip which you cut off, and mount it to the front flat part of the card, use Foam mounting tape to raise it up.(see photo number 10)
    8. To create the rosettes, use a paper border punch along the edge of the paper, it needs to be 12 inches long, when finished cut the strip 1.5 inches wide, so the should have 12 inches by 1.5 inches.
    9. Fold or if you have a score please use that, so you want to fold it valley, mountain, valley mountain, like a fan all the way along, try to keep them the same size.
    10. Using the stapler, put both ends together, inside out and staple, then push the rosette down flat on a table, take a piece of paper, round is better and stick it to the back of your rosette using a hot glue gun, this will dry quickly, so turn the rosette over to the right side and hold it in towards the middle. (can use PVA, but you will have to hold it), add brad and lace in a bow.
    11. To make the little flags, cut a stripe of  paper, fold it over until to get the size you want, cut the triangle bits out of the end, and then put some double sided tape on the inside, place your tooth pick in the middle and fold over.
    12. Cover with pieces off your paper as desired,
    13. Take the bar code strip and run a piece of double sided tape along the back with decorative side facing up, then you can use it like tape and place it down onto your card, folding paper as you go.
    14. Use Rub on, onto tag, attach flower, Butterfly, flags and Rosette (using foam mounting tape on the rosette).
    15. To finish use some Glitter glue to add some bling.
    16. Thank You From The Girls At Fred.
