Hi, here are the step-by-steps for the "Moments"kit.
Step 1. Trim the "Performance" paper to 11.5x11.5 inches square. Fussy cut the top of the grammaphone image. Then distress the edges of the sheet with either an edge distresser or scissors etc. If you like you can then ink the edges, I have used a light brown ink. Adhere the paper to the burgundy paper (which has a hole cut out of it). You can then distress the edges of the burgundy paper.
Step 2. Take the 6x12 damask strip of paper, distress edges. Lightly tack that paper to the centre of the layout. Then place acetate strip on top of damask strip. Now place the top of the grammaphone that you cut earlier onto damask paper and acetate (see photos below).
Step 3. Cut the rectangle piece (with the camera image, see photos below) out, adhere to acetate along with your photo.
Step 4. To start the layering, take the thin acetete strip (the one with the music notes) and place on the top of the layout. Take the burgundy diecut, distress and alyer on top of music note acetate. Take the orange artisan sticker and the piano key sticker (distress if desired) and place those on top of previous sheets. Once you are happy with the placement, glue everything down.
Step 5. Cut out the burgundy journalling tag, distress and place underneath the damask paper on the right hand side (see image below). Now get the film sticker, press down on the left hand side, creating a ruffle as you go (see image below). If you wish you can ink over those pleats.
Step 6. Attach chipboard piano and flourish pieces using foam mounting tape, to add dimension. Then behind the chipboard add your music note sticker.
Step 7. Ink your "Moments"chipboard title ( I have used black). Then glue down.
NOTE: We have included some extra chipboard and stickers for you to use.
